Sometimes things can be a pain to find but overall it’s a great and reliable app that has become part of my everyday fitness and calorie routine! As a bodybuilder it’s been very helpful!

This app is so helpful and amazing. Not only for tracking all of my info but also for the service! I opened the app yesterday and it had a glitch and I couldn’t pull up any foods to log and all of my favorites were gone. It is the first and only issue I’ve had since I’ve had this app. I reached out to submit an issue and within probably 30 minutes I had received two emails and the issue was fixed!!! Amazing team! You guys are helping keep me on track and I appreciate you so much!!

It needs quite a bit work. The diary and food tracking is pretty straightforward and useful. The barcode scanner is super convenient *if* the food is in their database. But god help you if you try to add a custom recipe or import something from a website. First, the menu structure to add something is like that movie Inception, a custom within a custom within a custom. The user interface here needs to be simplified so you know where you are in the menu. Second, importing a recipe is pretty much always wrong. You have to go in and correct the ingredients and quantities. And there’s a bug on the screen where you set the number of servings per recipe that collapses the viewing window so you can’t actually see what you’re typing into the box. You should only use these features if you’re on the web version on a desktop computer.

I have been using this app for years to track my food intake. It tracks more nutrients than any alternative I've been able to find, and is super easy to use and customize. I encountered a glitch with the food database, and emailed customer service, expecting a long wait for the problem to be addressed. They fixed it within a few hours. I am tremendously impressed with the app, and with their support for it.

I loved this app- so much better than the others- until this morning. This morning it stopped working. Will not recognize any food I enter. No foods come up when I search for them. All the food I’ve logged each day is gone. GONE!!!!
03012021sunman • Apr 2, 2026
Randomly malfunctions and forgets ALL of the foods saved to favorites, and won’t show any results when searching for them again. Completely useless, I would never pay for this
S.Ashley • Apr 2, 2026
App was working fairly smoothly until recent update and now is not showing any results for basic searches. Only will populate food if I scan barcode. For paid subscription, this is disappointing as main function of app isn’t even working.
Jimjamjellyman • Apr 2, 2026
Working one day, literally can’t search foods, doesn’t have results and is unusable the next day unless you scan barcodes. An egg doesn’t have a barcode….
Countyfan101 • Apr 2, 2026
Great app while it worked but it stopped being able to look up foods after a week. Also, the ads are quite annoying and long
STL_Rob • Apr 2, 2026
Today the app stopped working and allows for no searches for foods. Please fix.
Ray dog 38 • Apr 2, 2026
Worked fine until this morning when I try to add a food in the search bar nothing shows up anymore.
janro676 • Apr 2, 2026
Cannot log food because the app is currently broken and showing a gray screen on my diary, as well as the search bar not returning any food items so the app is currently unusable
Starblacksun • Apr 2, 2026
Great app, basically as great as my fitness pal. I put them both on top for functionality but my fitness pal is to expensive and dishonest where they took away features even as a paid member. So Cronometer is a far better value but it is just lacking a better food database.
GeeBee99 • Apr 1, 2026
This is the best app I have tried for tracking all the metrics relevant to health. It has a really excellent method to capture and to track food, and automatically identifies calories, macronutrients, micronutrients and more. Health and exercise metrics can be automatically added to the app. The available dashboard and reports allow for easy visualization of all your tracked information.
