The classes are good but the app is mediocre. For example, you can’t see a course overview or runtime once you’ve tagged or started it. You have to go to the website to see it. Help is also nonexistent.
There’s not a lot of real business options. This is mostly for industry people and it’s more opinion based. I didn’t feel like I was learning a lot. I thought I canceled my renewal but it renewed anyway. I can’t get a refund even though I haven’t logged into the app since the first year. Not worth the cost.
Having to accept that in-class learning is close to obsolete, we’d better have the best high-quality digital/online learning. I think this is it.

There’s another annoyance… you cannot stream, mirror, airplay or whatever else you may have unless is a google cast device. Yes I am serious. That’s stupid. Not everyone wants to watch all this material in a tiny little screen and not everyone has a Google Cast.
The app is really bad. It auto plays when you login and it’s hard to navigate. Worst of all for me though is that it heats up my phone and kills my battery. Lost 25% battery life in 30 minutes. Phone was crazy hot. Their website clearly had. 30 day money back guarantee. If they give me the run-around I’ll just dispute it with the credit card company.
Whoever updated the last three times needs to be let go the app has been terrible.
The app doesn’t support cancelling your subscription. Lock in that gives subscriptions a bad wrap.
There’s no way to go back into Chris Voss. It gives an error and no other option to continue in the lesson.
This is just another subscription service that wants you to pay and forget that you’re on an automated renewal. I haven’t logged in for 6 months. They charged me for an annual subscription one year after I signed up to try it. I reached out IMMEDIATELY after they charged me and asked for a refund. After fighting with them they are only willing to refund 50% (but I get to keep using it for 6 months…whoopie!). I haven’t logged in for 6 months, what makes you think I’m going to start now. They don’t have many useful classes. They could have refunded the full thing but they are greedy.

There’s a lot of little issues they need to work on this app. For the last 15 minutes, I’ve been just trying to get to the previous video of one of the episodes and it’s not easy to use. I highlighted three courses I wanted to take and they don’t seem to be getting saved anywhere so I have to look them up every time.
Short videos with good edits to seem valuable but you can save money and watch it on YouTube
Masterclass’s content is phenomenal. That is not what this review is about. It is about the fact that you cannot download content on the “standard” subscription, learning this only after purchase and being forced to upgrade to “Duo” subscription for $179.99, the the upgrade never being applied to the account. If you download this app DO NOT subscribe via in-app purchase. ONLY do it through masterclass website. The customer support is hot AI garbage. I’ve spent days trying to get my account fixed to simply get what I paid for. Still no luck.
