so I downloaded it two days ago and it still won’t like load and I’ve been here since two days ago and I don’t think it’s worth it

as someone who has used this app FOR YEARS, it works as intended. you need to have the proper LED lights that tell you that they work with this app to ensure it works correctly. it’s not a bad app. it does its job. it isn’t as bad as people are trying to say.

I’m giving 1 star and I do not know why. Maybe because they worked about one month but only single color and 2-color and not in all options for effect. When I tried to change from Christmas red & green to just red for Valentine’s, it would not change. When I tried to change colors, the ONLY color that would come on was blue and still is blue.
I followed the VERY few instructions given with no troubleshoot information. I unplugged, deleted app. Plugged back in, reloaded app. Still only does blue, no other color nor any of the special effects.
I tried sending feedback through the app and it continued to say ‘failed to send’.
I am very angry about all the work my son did putting these up and dangerous putting them on the high pitches on my house.
VERY angry. And no way to reach them for solutions.
DO NOT BUY!

It works? But honestly the manual buttons on the device has more options than the app, zero to little customization and missing functions like the DIY preset and no choice in what colors fade into eachother. Just really disappointing if you’re looking for anything other than a glorified light switch

Honestly it sucks because I got it to sync with music and it doesn’t even work and genuinely is just awful

It works but it’s very annoying to setup a schedule and you cant do multiple times and it’s just not good. It works fine for changing custom colors but yeah it needs work .

This is a cheap version of better lights on the market The lights are similar but the software or interface doesn’t allow the owner much control. You can’t program lighting or color sequences only what the program comes with. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE

I tried put it on and it won’t work!!!

It says I can connect my Apple Music to this app, but when I go to play music from the Apple Music app, it’s not playing inside of the Lotus Lantern app. Is it like a no issue or is it a gimmick? Update: 05/15/2026 still trash app

1: Why cant we have multible on and off schedule for time? It would be good for a weekday schedule and for a weekend schedule.
2: Music player, mainly I want to be able to go to my music app (for me it’s YouTube music) and be able to connect it to there. I don’t know why we can’t connected to a system we know is free and not have to pay for apple.
3: When I go into the mic feature, the system never turns off, to where I have to close out and re-open the app, A latch option here could be a good feature to place here.

Those are the suggestions and opinions on my end, other people also have suggestions that might correlate with mine. Any way it’s almost 4am and I should probably get some sleep Gn

I’ve had this app for a little over a year now. It works fine for what I want but since moving the devices it connects to tripled and there’s no way of removing other people’s devices or renaming mine so I know who I’m disconnecting from my app. If those were options to keep my lights how I want them and not have them randomly turn off because of someone else, that would be perfect.

This app is so good I just recently re downloaded it bc I turned on my led and it still works great. If you want led buy this brand and use the app!

I enjoy the lights because they look pretty, but unfortunately, the color range is off. If I choose yellow, it turns green if I choose a red, it turns violet. It seems like it’s just pulling blue. It’s making it hard to customize my colors.
The biggest tissue I’m having though is that you can’t rename each device in the app, which is making it impossible to identify my devices. They’re all named the same thing and you can’t change it. This makes it very difficult to create accurate groupings.

Okay so I got these on my bed frame but I’ve had these lights for about 5 days and they are completely unresponsive like they are stuck being on and in one color I tried re downloading the app resetting my phone everything even tried from a different phone and nothing PLEASE HELP

I see why this app has a 2.6 rating and I’m not surprised.. I’ve set a timer on this app so the lights could go on at a specific time, but I’m not sure what’s with the app that it keeps resetting the timer on his own or even sometimes shutting it off without my consent. I think there’s something wrong with the app and it needs to be updated. and when I try to give a feedback, it asked me to put my email and when I do, it keeps asking me for my email. I’m not sure what’s with that part.
