My subscription expires today and I received 15 exactly same reminder emails to get me keep using this app. Because of this I’ll definitely NOT keep using it. This is absurd.
very perfect app which help me a lot
i have a very autonomous job, which i love, but i have such a hard time organizing my tasks and figuring it what order to do them in because of my adhd. I decided to try mind mapping, and i NEEDED something that worked on my ipad, as well as both my personal and work computers that run windows. Turns out this is the ideal tool for me to organize my tasks and thoughts! My brain feels so much more organized. Thank you for this.
Used to love it, don’t now. Price jacked up to $99 and everything stuck behind that paywall. And yet another fall to AI. Yuck. No. Unsubscribed.

I love this app! It works the way I have wanted other mind mapping apps to work for years. I highly recommend it.
My one note: After the update that came along with iOS 26, it seems that planned tasks no longer automatically track and calculate to do list item completion?
It’s possible this is a bug but I’m hoping this feature is restored soon. It alone made premium worth it for me.

The app is solid (not as intuitive as iThoughts) but to expensive. If I compare the value to e.g. Todoist it is clearly overpriced. Get the subscription down 50% and it is a fair value.
If the software offers a seven day free trial, followed by a yearly subscription, make that information available up front.
Even the free version of this app is very powerful. The beautiful custom Concept maps that they offer is unlike anything else i’ve ever seen. Amazing for project management, business timelines , personal goals , and everything in between. So glad i found this app.
What’s this flashing icon of your logo that appears in the middle of the page and cannot be closed? Can’t even test this…
While the app has great features, it will continue to solicit you to upgrade even when you pay for a particular version. You will receive pop-ups and constant reminders to go to a higher plan. It makes it very distracting, especially when there are so many other apps that are less money and some that are even free that do basically the same thing. This company will nickel and dime you until they get you to break down and buy more services even when you have bought multiple versions of their app. It is a simple fix, but they refused to fix it.
Love that so many colour palettes are available so you can personalise a mind map quickly and efficiently.
But what i appreciate most is that this app is free to use, and while some formats/templates are locked for paid users, the free ones are diverse and plenty enough that it doesn't feel like other apps that are trying to bait you into paying so you can have more than 3 measly templates.
For me this makes it more likely i will be willing to subscribe in the future as XMind has become the most optimal mindmap app.

I started with the 14 days premium subscription and after the 14 days paid $99 for the annual subscription and every time when I open the Xmind file, it asked me to upgrade when I tried to setup more than 3 mind maps. Also when I used the web access, it asked me to pay for additional seats…I emailed customer service, and provided my Apple ID and Xmind ID and they still couldn’t fix it and merely asked me to send them diagnostic files from the app.
I spoke to other users and they said this app can only be used on one device and when logged in from two or more devices, in my case MacBook and IPad, the login system thinks I am two users and asking me to pay for additional seats…poor implementation of user login and certainty a bit sneaky on Xmind part. Be warned.

There is a possibility that I am just inept at working the app and I would appreciate instruction if that is the case. I need to have more control for this to really be worth my time. I would like to be able to add topics into my maps above ones that I’ve already done, sometimes i discover new information that needs to be added toward the middle or top of a map and the only way to do that is to delete things and remap. If i could move things in free space that would solve the issue. Also connecting separated topics, just because things are different at one step or another doesn’t mean they don’t have the same outcome so id like to be able to connect my boxes that have separated back into one. Finally the big one is being able to have AI build maps for me that i can edit, This is a great tool but when there’s really large quantities of information I can’t just sit there and build maps even though i would like too. If these features were added the app would be a 6 star app!
