Block annoying scammers who hide behind fake phone numbers.
Do you get unwanted calls or text messages from phone numbers similar to your own? With Number Shield, block an entire group of numbers at once. Just enter a wildcard for each digit you want to block.
For example, if your number is 714-555-1234, scammers might use a number like 714-555-6789. Block all similar numbers by entering 714-555-####. Wildcards and numbers can be combined in any order you choose. Block international numbers, too!
To make sure you don't miss calls from your family and friends, phone numbers in your contacts are always allowed.
Block numbers directly from your phone's missed calls screen. Just follow these steps:
1. Tap the “ i ” button next to the missed call.
2. Tap “Share Contact”.
3. Tap “Block Similar Numbers”. (If you don't see this action, tap “Edit Actions...“ to enable it.)
4. Now you'll see the Number Shield number entry screen. Tap “Done” to block calls from similar numbers.
Please note:
• Each number pattern can contain up to 7 wildcards, and up to 50,000,000 phone numbers can be blocked.
• Blocked calls are sent directly to voice mail.
• Blocked text messages are sent to the “Junk” filter in the Messages app.
• iMessage messages are not blocked.
• When “Do Not Disturb” is enabled on your phone, calls that should be blocked may appear in your phone's list of missed calls.

Community Voice & Feedback
This app does not block calls. It just sends them to voicemail which you can do simply by setting your phone to send an identified caller to voicemail. It’s not helping at all.
I constantly find numbers getting through that I have blocked in a larger string of numbers, that should include it and block it !
It’s impossible to block mass numbers (like all 844 numbers) because the app just crashes 25% of the way into blocking numbers. Complete waste of money.
Makes life better!!
This app is garbage. All it does is silences the call. The call still comes in. Absolutely do not recommend
The best app to block all those annoying calls!
Created block number list by area codes. Still receiving 20+ calls a day.
Had several large area codes blocked, went to add another. Every time it got to 24% it restarted. Cannot stop the app from restarting the block and restarting every time I go into it
Added a few area codes and app is crashing in the middle of blocking numbers. It seems app doesn’t have much capacity to block many numbers. Want my money back
I put in the number pattern : 571-3***-****
A message still got thru from 571-360-****
A message still got thru from 571-360-****
It does not block the numbers I asked it to block. Don’t waste your money on this app
Has potential to be just what you want but after blocking thousands of 8## prefixes it keeps shutting off around 30% and won’t finish. Brand new latest model iPhone too!
Stop asking me to leave reviews for every app!
App worked fine for several patterns until I tried adding (877) ###-####. Now it is perpetually stuck on “Adding Numbers” and crashes at 28%. Nothing I tried fixes this, so it is essentially bricked.
You're only allowed X amount of numbers before they cut you off. When I got this app four years ago on my other phone it didn't have these restrictions now it's next to useless.
