I downloaded this today and I use a magic keyboard with my iPad Pro and you are 100% unable to enter any text. Worst app I’ve ever downloaded in all of my life, to be frank.

Fast and very smooth code editor for HTML, CSS and JS. Also supports numerous libraries. Works perfectly on my iPad like VSCode does on my MacBook. Great job, Ashvin!

I wish there was a layout change function in the web mode in the app.

I cannot seem to find a JS code editor on iPad Pro that has the following (very basic) features:
1. A console
2. Automatic text formatting / completion
3. Works with Apple Keyboard
4. Doesn’t crash

If anyone has any ideas…

A more convenient code sharing website that I can’t think of the name

Environment:
iPad Pro 2 12.9pm + Smart Keyboard

Doesn’t support Smart Keyboard very well. For example, when you code in a block, the ‘tab’ key does not tab instead it generates a word. For example, in JS function block, it generates ‘this’. In CSS, it generates ‘align-content’. It works fine when you are out of block. It’s just like a strange way of auto completion.

Another keyboard problem I’ve found is the up & down arrow keys don’t work at all.

But still, it is a GREAT APP on mobile device. It’s perfect for create and store code snippets. I think it has a lot of potential and I still can’t believe it’s totally free and NO ADS AT ALL! You just write your code and preview the result with one click.

Here’re some of my suggestions:
1. Fixed the Smart Keyboard problem
2. If you using the large font, the position of cursor does not quite right
3. Menu page UI needs improvement
4. Maybe Sass?
5. Auto indentation?
6. Theme system?

Thanks for all the hard works to bring this wonderful app to us.

I love this app and i am really interested in web development but I thought that I couldn’t get a official code editor on ipad, apparently i did, this one. So, my problem is : I have a wireless keyboard connected to my iPad. For some reason, it doesnt support the up and down arrow keys whereas it does support the left and right arrow keys and it becomes really tedious move five lines up by just holding the left key for 20 seconds, thats why i really hope, the developers of this app could make a small update fixing the problem. Thank you

This is the only javascript app in the App Store that functions correctly. From the console to the browser previews. I am impressed. I wish it didn’t take me so long to discover it.
