I tried today to learn and I did good for a bit and I got to one section where when I played the cord on the right fret and right string and kept saying it was wrong over and over and once I played the wrong string it counted it correct and then it said it was wrong again over and over and wouldn’t let me move on to the next note
I rated the app a 2 previously d/t mic issues. I changed my guitar from electric to acoustic and it now works great.The app is user friendly, instructor is great. Mic doesn’t pick up electric guitar w/o an amp. Just a heads up, when you’re practicing the courses hit the chords or notes just a bit early, the mic picks it up better
The app wont even pick up or the tune and I’m doing it correct all the simply apps are horrible
I’m not but 2 day of Learning the guitar and I found this app but then the next thing I know, I have to pay to continue learning. NOT GONNA PAY TO LEARN
You have to pay for every single feature and its not even reasonably priced!
I liked that it taught me two cords and then I had to pay no way around it which I didn’t like because I already payed a lot for the actual guitar so I couldn’t afford it and I hate to say that I had to turn to another app so I can learn for free. And while I was tuning for whatever reason said I was too high but on my physical tuner said it was right but those are really the only two things I disliked…

Its a pretty good app my only complaint is that the microphone on this app never picks up my guitar even when I am playing really loud

When I was tuning my guitar it kept saying it was too high and I ended up hurting myself because of it. Fix you damn game
The first few lessons won’t be glitchy and then no matter what you do learning, the chords will just be glitchy. It helped me a lot at first, but after that, it was just a waste of time the app refuses to hear your guitar.

The app is good, that’s something that’s right, the thing that’s bad about this is that everything is behind a monthly paywall, so if you’re fine with dishing out over 100 dollars a year on this, be my guest, but if you’re a broke teen like me who don’t got that money, there’s way better options. Overall wouldn’t recommend this.

I leaned somthing about guitar but you have to pay to play a song
I’ve had this app for all of 2026 and kind of like it. Every time I go on it and try to play a Dm or Am cord it doesn’t work and my parents won’t take me seriously.
