I give this app 4.9999 stars because it is a nice implementation, but with what must be a bug that gives periodically incorrect results. The bug happens when I do serial additions and subtractions that should result in the answer of 0. Instead I will sometimes get a very, very small non-zero result such as -1.43665 x 10 to the minus 14 power. This bug was first noticed as I was reconciling my checking account. The bug is repeatable, and is most frequently triggered when negative and positive numbers are added and subtracted as would happen during a financial reconciliation.
When I try to set the P/Y to 12, the calculator returns a value of 6 (or now 1 after in reinstalled). I’ve cleared all the registers and it still malfunctions. It used to work fine. Now there is this glitch.
I previously used a BA II Calculator app from a different developer, but had to change when my phone updated to IOS 26. Bought this Pro version and disappointed with the slow response of the buttons. Also would be nice to be able to see entered values in the N, I/Y, PV, PMT, and FV functions as other developer versions of the BA II are able to provide. Have not had any issues with incorrect calculations. Will stick with this app since I paid for it. Will update review if I see future improvements.
The BA II Plus Professional performs well. It’s fast, accurate, and handles complex financial functions. It takes some time to get familiar with the layout.
When doing a CPT on PV or PMT, the result is coming up negative (right value, wrong sign). This does not occur on my physical BA-35 calculator.

Great app, but can you please add ability to type with keyboard on the iPad version of the app?
I stopped using my BAII Plus because this app is better, easier to see, etc.

The Menu button at the upper right has a link to the Non-Pro manual. It should link to the Pro version manual for this BAII Plus PRO Emulator. This quick link to the manual is geared to have as a reference, but please link it to the PRO manual.
This has been a great calculator. Just like the one I used that I carried in my briefcase only now I have it with me all the time.
I enjoy the app on both Android and iOS but what the identifiers permission is used for?
Any TVM computing is incorrect. At the beginning I tried to calculate TVM and it was fine, but when I bought Pro version every computation is incorrect. Easiest one with compounded rate shows nonsense output.
I’m an MBA student and this is exactly what I need for my finance classes. I’m also glad this is a one-time purchase (I am tired of the trend of making everything a subscription)
This is a great app! I have the BAII calculator, but I having this app on my phone, I don’t really need to carry it around. It doesn’t lack anything from the actual calculator. Get the pro version and you get rid of the annoying ads.
Cheaper than the real thing and you always have it with you.
