Needs dark mode and 2fa and it’ll be damn near perfect

My sister is trying to send me money through Zelle to pay my water bill, but the Varo people won’t allow it for 60 days??! That’s crazy. I’ve never had a bank that restricted an advertised feature. So for now, 1 star.

The application has closed my zelle account, it has only allowed me to receive 1 transfer for an amount less than $10 it really sucks I don’t recommend it

Careful they scam you . I have Dave and Albert they work great but Varo is a scam

Mobile deposit will take a full week! longer than any other bank will not be reusing!

Worst bank ever can’t talk to nobody when I have a problem and hold money unnecessarily. I wish I could give them zero stars. Horrible customer service as well.

The dispute process is flawed they don’t do any real investigation or provide significant evidence that the charge is valid , they all side with the merchant 9/10 times and will close your account for asking for appeals it’s a joke bank mom and pop style treatment!

I only downloaded this app and switched my deposit because it seemed convenient and much faster. I was wrong. I’m waiting on a check I deposited August 4th. I have tried everything from contacting support to calling and that check will not be given to me until the 12th. I’ve never had a check with a hold for that long! Never!
Had a family death and explained this to support I needed funds and still no help. Do not download this app once I get my money I will be closing this app and account

I am deeply saddened by how Varo treated me during an already difficult time. After fleeing from an abusive relationship, I was in the process of rerouting my mail but unfortunately before my address change went through, my new Varo debit card was sent to the address where I had been previously living at with my abuser. Not surprisingly he didn't hesitate to open my mail and spend my money that I had pre-loaded onto the card (which for insult to injury, I had only preloaded funds on the card, AT THE SUGGESTION OF VARO! They 'recommended' that I pre-load funds onto my card to be able to use it immediately upon arrival.!)
I immediately contacted Varo support for help reporting the theft, when I got notification of the situation. Instead of helping me investigate or recover my funds, Varo completely closed my account and banned me from opening another, claiming "fraudulent practices."
Instead of supporting a victim of mail theft and financial abuse, Varo treated me like the perpetrator. Losing my money and being locked out of my account when I was trying to rebuild my life was heartbreaking.

Be careful that think not helpful and your money not safe in there. If you got some trick and lose your money there is no way to cancel it not like another bank. I am leaving that asap. I under stand my old bank was how much good thanks for teaching it.

Every time I click to find ATM button app closes. Please fix it and I’ll fix my rating.

Yet another app with lots of promises and “here to help you” but really just scamming you out of so much money it’s like u got a small loan at 3000% interest…SCAM SCAM SCAM

You can have an account at Citibank or Bank of America but you cannot open with Varo because you are not a citizen. Yes even if you provide SSN you cannot go through. Trash.

I been with Varo three years they allowed a merchant to over charge me I filed a dispute and they denied my claim so no they are not a honest bank they allow merchants to over charge me without doing anything

This is the best bank I have ever had the experience is so awesome if varo bank was a woman I would take you out to dinner I love all the perks and the no fees is so awesome thank you for this bank I’m not going anywhere else I’m here to stay I love varo bank… Varo thank you… thank you for your Advance to get to my next work check thank you again greatest bank ever…
