Robert was excellent to work with. He got me all set up with my new storage unit. It was easy peazy.
The main benefit for the app is its use for gates, but it rarely works for any gate access. No matter how many times you try or how close you get to the keypad, there’s a 1 in 5 chance of this app working
The app is riddled with bugs. Constantly have to acknowledge an agreement to sign that I already did. Have to exit out to website then go back into app. Customer service is non existent for tenants. They never answer the phone. Property managers never pick up either.
Using IOS 26.6, if you are having log-in issues and the Home Screen not loading, I had to turn off VPN. Then the Home Screen and the access screen were able to load up and I was able to enter the building. Hope this helps you as it took me some time to fix the issue just to get my access. The backup is to keep a copy of the access code and enter this manually at the keypad near the door. *xxxxxx#
It seems like every other time I stop at my storage this app says I have to update it. So I’m sitting at the gate updating the stupid app so I can get in, or I can punch the code in. So what is the app doing for me?
Public storage bought out istorage. My auto pay has been switching dates every time I look online and also won’t let me pay because error codes come up. The property manager just tells me how she has no clue and how public storage is a mess. The only way to speak to someone from public storage is a chat which you get some generic person telling me the same answer over and over with no help. Public storage is a mess and had been completely wasting my time. 0/10!!!!
Go to storage unit 10 x 10 wasn’t 10 x 10 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 rent just kept going up light no electricity though,

All I get is a blank white screen when I open the app. Major bug.
Update your credit card and they turn off autopay. It will show still turned on, but then if you look around in the app it turns off. Either incompetence or malicious, or both.
This app is garbage. If nothing else, they tell you that you can access the facility via the app. It has worked ONCE for me.

2. I’m going to ignore the iOS badge counter or turn it off. Legitimate or not, stop bothering me with nonsense like:
3. Is auto pay off or is auto pay on get your app together because it’s so misleading or buggy. And don’t send me past due or payment implying it’s late for half a month away. It tells me you don’t communicate well at all. I turned auto pay back on and off and still seems off on the dashboard.
4. This insurance coverage is useless. Please explain why 5K is the value for everyone regardless of what’s in their storage or how large the storage is?

There has been a payment method error since March of this year which has created an issue with my account. Thinking I remedied the issue by using my credit card instead of my bank account to remit payment, in June I was told neither April nor May’s payment was received. To avoid any further issues I submitted payment via my AMEX card; however, I also submitted proof of my previous payments for April and May via bank statements and proofs of payment as requested from the storage facility personnel in order to have the double payment returned which still has not happened. Either there is a glitch in the app or there is an issue with Public Storage’s payment mechanism itself which is fleecing customers out of their money. This issue must be resolved immediately.
