wondering if it’s possible to change name when pairing? I have mine as Name’s TV Box but the apostrophe messes up the name

I’m using this as a replacement to the Shield remote app. Much better with many more features.

First I’d like to share this app is well worth the price. Does exactly what it’s intended to do, easily and effectively. Navigation is natural too, it’s a very well built app and connects to WiFi and FireStick flawlessly. Had an odd question and support email was same day.

But the developers privacy website does NOT align with the App Store privacy card as no data collection. 1 star because of that. Transparency is the main thing I consider when doing business with people. I was excited to see this tool because I seen “no data collection” but after seeing the actual policy I feel different when the developer can actually put which data is being collected on the App Store instead of appearing that it doesn’t.

This makes working on boxes way easier. Must have app if you’re constantly setting up and making changes.

There's very few apps I review for bc sometimes i forget, but this app is worth posting a review. it's a very clean, simple, and snappy app that does what it says very smoothly. So if you read the overview of the features and think it's useful to you, this app is for you! The dev is also very active with supporting the app on Telegram.

I love the app, it’s really great but I can’t seem to disable apps on my Android tv running Android 14 OS

Everything works great, except for Live Activities. On my wife’s iPhone 11 running iOS 18.3.1, Live Activities functions perfectly—icons appear in black and white, and she can control media directly from the lock screen. However, on my iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 16.3.1, Live Activities behaves differently. Whether accessed from the Dynamic Island or lock screen, the buttons don’t work. Tapping any button or area of the Live Activity simply reopens the app instead of performing the intended action. Additionally, I’ve noticed that my icons appear black and red instead of black and white. Aside from this issue, everything else works flawlessly.

Edit: it would also be nice touch to control the volume up/down with the phone’s hardware buttons when using the remote control.

Loving the app so far. My only issue is with turning it off when not in use. Is this possible; did I miss it or does it always have to run in the background? I’m using it for my fire stick but my tv is only on maybe twice a week. Thx.
