Product Positioning & Context

Wipr blocks ads, popups, trackers, cookie warnings, and other nasty things that make the web slow and ugly.

Websites in Safari will look clean, load fast, and stop invisibly tracking you. You’ll notice significant improvements to your battery life and data usage. Setup is a snap.

Wipr’s blocklist is updated twice a week automatically, and has enhanced versions for the following languages: Bosnian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Macedonian, Malay, Montenegrin, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese.

Wipr is a universal app: install it on all your devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro) with a single purchase. It’s fully accessible with VoiceOver, Voice Control, and more. Dark, Tinted, and Clear icon variants are included. Family Sharing is supported.

Because it’s developed by a single independent developer and 100% funded by its users, Wipr only answers to you: no one can pay to have their ads unblocked, and there are no “acceptable ads”.

This app was made with love and patience. I hope you’ll enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed designing and building it.

The first and only ad blocker to actually do what it says it’ll do and block ads and popups. No tricks or gimmicks, simple, you don’t even remember it’s there, browse the web free of all the garbage.
Why not let it be free? • May 10, 2026
It’s just great

I’m not sure it’s the best, but of all those I’ve tried, it’s best. Its integration with Safari is flawless and it’s quick. Give it a try.

Pretty much a “best in class” app. Does what it says on the tin, with no additional configurations on your part. Releases on macOS, iPadOS and iOS I believe simultaneously (or close enough as to make no never mind).

If you want a simple to use app that just works for what it is intended to do, this is the app to get.

I forget I have this running but it’s allways working for me
Set it and forget it

Failure of an ad blocker. Costs money, yet 75% of ads come through. Developer’s FAQ file seems snarky.

Dev cares about uses, it shows in every interaction with the app. Everything is carefully and meticulously thought of. A+ work!

I was a little skeptical at first but after testing it out I knew you weren’t messing around. Not all heroes wear capes!

The only place I see it working is YouTube (via safari) which is shocking. Other simpler sites, like for cooking, news, or wikis all still have numerous ads, except now the webpage crashes repeatedly. I guess I can’t see the ad when the webpage doesn’t even load!

This amazing little app does it all, without fuss, and works so smoothly I sometimes forget it’s there. That is, until I accidentally open a G-browser 😱
Thank you Kaylee!! I hope your life is as amazing as your app!! ✨

I loved Wipr, had no issues until a recent Apple update. Now it doesn’t work and I’m not tech savvy enough to know how to fix it. I want to get rid of it and can’t even figure that out.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I like to leave reviews on things I really like. Also sometimes idk what’s a bot or not in the reviews. So here’s my experience. I was on a streaming website and whenever I clicked anywhere on the page it kept doing pop ups that would take me to other webpages. Usually gambling or x rated sites. It was quite annoying as I was just trying to watch sports… anyways, initially after purchasing and downloading it didn’t work… then I noticed in the bottom left inside of safari I had to give it access to the website/web for it to work, as soon as I did it worked perfectly. Now I can watch streams on my phone ad/pop up free!!!

Wipr 2 does everything that it says it does. When blocking ads, web pop up’s, trackers etc, I can utilize the web in a clean, safe, and secure manner. As an internet user, Wipr 2 improves my overall web experience and well being.
