the one thing i wish was different is that the macros chart is WAY off. it doesn’t matter what the actual numbers are for fat, protein, and carbs, it will ALWAYS show fat as the biggest portion, even if protein or carbs is highest in number. it really throws me off when i’m trying to look at my data at a glance with the macro widget to plan ahead. other than that, this is a very useful app. i do also wish there was an easier way to track actual nutrients - vitamins, minerals, etc. so i could easily see what i’m missing there. there’s a lot of food that i can’t eat, so for me i use the app to make sure i’m eating enough, rather than trying to eat less. so all the data i can get is very important to me
I’ve used Lose It! for the last 15 years to track my diet. I finally hit my goal weight yesterday after lots of ups and downs, but this tool has allowed me to easily track all the metrics and super easily log the food.
This is a great app and I enjoy using it daily. I depend on it.
I first used the app in 2011. I lost 40lbs that year then I deleted the app and gained it back again. Now I’ve recently downloaded it and I noticed there’s so many new useful features that will definitely help me with my weightloss journey. My favorite one is the fasting tracker. There are many benefits to fasting especially after 30yrs old 😅 so having one app to track that and my macros is like the best way to go about this weightloss journey. I can also change the theme which I think makes it fun, so I feel more comfortable using the app. Other apps are too boring I just stop using them. I’m glad I came back to this app. Will pay for the lifetime subscription fs.
If you need to lose weight, it’s not the app for you. They will remove useful features and clutter the app with ads even after you paid full price
Anything that helps you make better choices that’s free is beyond 5 stars!

Then I realized you can do the trial and continue using the app for free beyond the trial and it was a gimmick to pay full price for premium.
Everyday you use the app the price or premium will drop. The lowest I saw was around $2 per month. I keep golding out waiting to see if they will have a one time fee because these subscriptions are out of hand, let along this one where pricing is decided… well I don’t know how but it keeps changing. I even saw it went back to full price for a couple days - NO THANKS.

Wow. Why am I paying this much to still get constantly advertised to for more money???? This is actually ridiculous I don’t want to see ads ever on an app I’m paying for. I’m wildly disappointed at how greet the devs have gotten over the years for more money.
I’ve used this app on and off for about 4 years and it’s really a great app. You can log your food with barcodes which is super helpful and taking the time to log everything makes you actually be more conscious of what you’re eating. You can track your water, there’s tools for learning…it’s a great app.
I was 295lbs and got down to 235lbs in a year with effort and the help of this app in a year. I still have another 65 lbs to go, but I’m proud of myself and determined and this app is a great aid to use to get to my goal.
