Community Voice & Feedback
After two months of signing up for car insurance an not still able to use the app! Very frustrating, no one ever answers my calls for assistance.
These applications work without problems and are clean and intuitive. It is nice to do business with a firm is always is working to be better. Thank you.
Until this version of the app, I was able to change if I needed to my payment method on insurance policies I have.
When trying to do it on this app, it doesn't go to the website it kind of me to update or change the payment method. I hope the developers can look into this and resolve this issue as quickly

The app works well, but I have a suggestion for future updates. We have two identical year and make vehicles. It’s tricky to tell between them in the app. I’d like to see editable labels for the vehicles to help us tell their policies apart. “White Camry” or “Bob’s F150” etc.
This app does not do what it says it will do! I cannot view my monthly bill or past payments. I like to prepare for my payments each month and all of my policies are combined but the only way to get the amount is to call my agent. Every month. Frustrating!!
This app is fine for the features but could use an update GEOGRAPHICALLY! Good grief! They are inviting you to RUN THROUGH A RED LIGHT, to avoid the penalty of that “markdown” on “HARD BREAKING.”
I live “in town.” Our speed limits are set at 35mph and we have A LOT of lights close together. When I’m going 35mph, the light turns yellow and I KNOW I can stop in a reasonable amount of time- INCLUDING what this app calculates as “breaking hard,” you’d better BELIEVE IM GOING TO DO IT! How dumb that, geographically, the app/developers haven’t yet figured out … “hmm.. there’s a hard brake here, and there’s also a KNOWN LIGHT HERE.. î wonder if they could’ve “pumped the breaks” becuase the LIGHT TURNED”?
Needs a little work!
**UPDATE**
I received a response to my review….
Interesting how it does not address anything mentioned in regards to RUNNING RED LIGHTS AND BRAKING HARD! Only “when avoiding an accident.” If that’s how you wanna spin “braking abruptly” vs running a red light… your “tips” do not declare “avoid accidents at red lights. Please don’t run them. We know, geographically where lights are!”

"Thanks for your comment. We understand that sometimes it’s necessary to abruptly brake, like when you’re avoiding an accident. Braking and other events are noted in the app to highlight where there may have been opportunities for safer driving and share tips for how to improve driving behaviors. ~ State Farm iOS Team

The application shows your claim adjuster when you have issues, but there’s no great way of connecting with him. You call their automated number and you get stuck in a circle.
Maybe it’s pilot error on my part but the DS&S needs to coordinate with iOS better.
On one hand when I set Location to Always my phone will quickly fuss saying it’s been running in background even if parked. If I change it to While Using then SF will fuss saying they aren’t receiving data.
It already can track braking etc. It shouldn’t be beyond developers capabilities to have it only run when the ignition is on. #callout

App still does not provide progression towards ordering a new beacon. Goes to white blank page.
Love! Love! Love! the automated process to schedule car to be towed!

What happened to the feature of saving the insurance card to your Apple wallet?
Submitted my auto claim online. Very easy and convenient.

Never able to login to the mobile app. Constant issues. Always says login credentials failed or no internet. When I go on the website using the same device with the same login credentials, works without any problem. The app needs major updates.
