My grandmother is 3/4ths German and my other grandmother is 1/2 Austrian and both of these were turned into polish/ english/ Dutch
As a default, all your data is public. Need to click in secret places to block it. Don’t recommend.
The App is Great, but it seems like every new feature is an upgrade. I joined Ancestry in 2001 and I have cancelled my membership a few times bc of the cost. Ancestry does NOT seem to value Long Term customers. No specials or appreciates days, NOTHING!🫤🤨😞😑😕
Deleted/downloaded, still nothing. I pay for the pro membership and the normal monthly and it's very frustrating. Brand new ipad and 1gig internet so that's not the issue.
Every week, there's a new problem with this app!

3 months have passed and still did not get my results
I have been working on my tree for over 20 years and everything is gone!!!

Can’t accept family invitation. Can’t become a member. Can’t do anything on this app
Although I’m sure it’s done with good reasoning, at nearly 79 the constant changes in format are definitely difficult and confusing.
App is glitchy when trying to compare matches it will freeze up, then you have to get all the way out and start over. Also does not show dna matches connected to your tree. It’s better to just work online.

i did this hoping to gain knowledge of my grandparents i never met on my moms side when she passed there were no pictures and she didn’t really talk about them. what i got was a generic country map and air bisquited without adding another (very expensive) subscription to my life the test was gifted to me and heres the fine print PROMOTIONAL ACCESS IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE !!!
