Huge shout out to the Nike Run Club (NRC) App. Just love it. Very cool app and keeps track of progress and gives real time audio updates on various metrics such as time, distance and avg pace. Some of the other captured metrics include total miles, current pace, calories, cadence and the coolest of all elevation gained. This is intriguing. The app indicates so far, 126,795 ft- almost 2 times climbing up and down Mt Everest (29,032 ft) Is this true? To top it all, the fun pep quips in the app at the end of every run, from NRC head coach Bennett or coach Moe Fire. Some of my favorites : “this run is over; you are a better runner now than the one who started today’s run. That’s is the goal. Just to get a little better everyday” or “I hate to tell you- you are not only getting fit but you are getting flat out fast; keep it up”. And this one is everyone’s favorite Bennett’s quote: “Let every stride be about where you are running to and not where you are running from and you’ll end up running yourself somewhere better with every run.” Definitely a nice way to end a run. Also, the fun monthly 100K challenges- been in the top 10% among the 30-40k participants in all 12 months. The one thing I wish the app had: with all the features it displays, why not show the time (clock) as well. Will make my life easier to dial in/logon to meetings on time and outright not miss it (never missed meetings but had been late a few minutes a couple of times!! Haha!!)
NRC is the essentially only app I use for running. I love the guided runs and all the analytics. But it’s not perfect. My biggest complaint is trying to find the downloaded runs on my Apple Watch. I spend too much time scrolling through different folders trying to find what I’m looking for. I wish they would make a separate section for downloaded runs.
GPS is on and seetings are fine but the app still cant track distances and left me at 0.5 miles two times when I ran 2 miles. Installed Strava just to replace Nike Run
This has now happened to me multiple times. I really like this app, I like that it’s free, I like that it’s human. I like having real coaches in my ear when I’m running and I love the rapport between Coach Bennett and D.E.
However, today I did the 9K run that’s part of the 10k training plan. I was tracking it on my Whoop band at the same time as I was using the Nike Running App. My phone was in my running belt around my waist. And for some reason, the Nike Running App would just stop tracking my run. My auto-pause is off. And I’d take my phone out and unlock it and look at the app and it wasn’t paused, but it also wasn’t registering my movement at all. In the end, my Whoop says I ran 7.04 miles. The Nike Running App says I ran 5.59 miles. It’s really frustrating.

I didn’t think I could run at all. Didn’t think my
Body was made for it. But following along with Coach Bennett and the associate coaches made me a believer! I did the 5K training program and I am currently working on the 10k program. I love the guided runs so much. They keep me motivated and feeling encouraged, and I can gauge where I am at in my run at all times. I’m so grateful to Nike for this FREE program. Thank you so much!!!!

Just Do It.
I love the Nike Run Club, its user friendly. Tracks all my miles and progress and it’s all free!
Not as the best or most intuitive interface but this app has great programs and helpful guided runs. I’m a grateful user
This app is significantly helping me improve my running. However its very frustrating when the auto pause causes the guided runs to glitch. I was most of the way through a guided run when I stopped for genuinely 2 seconds. The entire run glitched after that- the spoken parts played immediately one after another, causing the timing to be completely off. I could not recover that run and was not able to get back to the interval it had failed on. Please fix this! In the meantime, i will not be using the auto pause feature.
Best Running App …. Way better than that other one 😎
Been using this app since 2013 and love it so much! Nike PLEASE can you add some new athlete quotes at the end of the run. I’m begging! It’s the same 10 responses and it’s driving me crazy. 🙏🏻
I use this app for years, but have a persistent issue with the app overriding volume in my podcast or whatever else I listen to to where I can barely hear it while I’m running. This has made me stop using this app and I’m really irritated and disappointed because this is what I used to track my mileage on my shoes.
