I bill the same three people, over and over. For YEARS. I use the instant payout feature. Now, every invoice I send gets held up for days for security review? First off, you cannot call to contact the company. So if you have issues, you can chat but then they just recommend you reply to an email…. I’m on day 6 of waiting for a response.
I opened up an account, sent an invoice, customer received invoice and submitted payment & then a few hours later, I get an email stating they cancelled my account and any pending payments would be returned. No reasoning, no solution recommendation, nothing. So here I am, a small start up company and my first real customer I have to reach out to and explain this situation too… one that I don’t even understand.
Got a response via email after chatting with some one (oh and never getting said email, btw) and they want bank statements, copy of photo id and a selfie proving I’m who I say I am…. Why wasn’t this requested BEFORE my account was approved??? So now I wait… day 6 of wanting to know why they cancelled my account.
What should have been so easy has turned into a pain and an embarrassment for my small family business.

Very disappointed with Invoice2go’s service. My account was randomly deactivated with no clear explanation, and getting any real help from support was extremely frustrating. I sent multiple follow-up emails and got little to no communication back. At one point, I was asked to submit documents, then later told my case was closed and that nothing more could be done through that ticket.
The entire process was confusing, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. No customer should have to chase a company for days just to get a basic explanation about their own account. Based on my experience, the level of support and communication has been terrible.

13 year user here. This app was by far the best when I first started using it. Just enough features for a small business to use for basic invoicing and expense tracking. You could export reports right from the app, and expense tracking was good.
Invoice2go is probably still a great fit more many people. I just don’t think it’s me anymore.
I’ve switched to the monthly subscription, so I can back up my data, and make the move to something else. Such a shame. Just simple things would change it all for me. But it’ll never happen, based on the last 6 years or so of waiting.

That feature was removed, and eventually replaced with “projects”. Something that over complicated the original feature.
But also, the reporting. Whether your using the app, or the website version, to get a report you have to; select the report (which most have current year, but if you want 2025 you have to select “custom” and do the date range) then click export, which then sends a link to your email, which then bounces you back to your browser for download, then you can open it. Talk about annoying.

I’ve been using the app for over 14 years and basically I’ve never had a problem. The biggest problem is I’ve had to login 6-8 times when I don’t log out. Otherwise it runs perfectly.
Great service!
I used this service since 2016 and will never recommend them after the way they treated loyal customers. They just kept going up on their prices and lowering features for forced you to open a bank account with some random bank. Anything else is better than this

I’ve been using this for five years plus and it just gets more expensive. I only write six invoices per year, sometimes a little bit more but usually not more than 15. But I’m charged $239 per year or something like I’m looking for something different or maybe just a different plan. Let me know.
Sometimes when I try to upload photos, whether from my phone or computer, I run into issues where in my phone I cannot print the file it won’t load and tells me there’s an error and on my computer some photos.JPEG in particular will fail to upload and I have to keep re-trying. Tempted to find another invoice service to use.
Cancelled my subscription, cancelled my account, still got billed. Couldn’t log in to view the account, since it was deactivated.
No support email. Support number is a dead end.

I have been unable to send email invoices from iOS 26 for several months. According to Invoice2go support this is a known issue and I only have the option of using my pc to send invoices via email or wiping my phone to downgrade to a previous iOS version.
