First off, sleep time is off. I don’t knw if that will cause my body battery to stay low.
0 widgets, UI/UX was developed in 2012 and hasn’t been touched since
Watches themselves 10/10. Garmin could dominate the market by developing a killer app.

I’ve only had the app and watch for a few days, and I’ve apparently lost all data from those few days by disconnecting and reconnecting and changing permissions. 🤬
The Garmin Connect app and my new Instinct watch are both very awkward to navigate:
-Too many menus and submenus
-Initial view/home pages are nearly useless for everyday use: you have to go hunt through menus
-Data is presented in Garmin-ese tech metrics: sleep score, VO2X(?) [something], Body Battery, Intensity [something] etc. Most of these aren’t any broadly understandable and usable metrics outside of the Garmin consumer-verse, and I don’t need to view my weight, immediate heart beat, or floors walked today on a phone app everyday time I open it: I’m looking for sleep hours, weekly stats on # of exercises and exercise minutes, maybe dusky and weekly steps, and maybe daily avg. calories.

First time Garmin owner. Bought and Epix Pro Gen2 a week ago. I can’t get it to connect to the app matter what troubleshooting guide I follow. I used Garmin’s guides, Reddit and even the N64 blow on it trick with no luck. Sad to say, my Apple Watch was always connected
Great running tracking
This app doesn’t work, the worst scale I ever had
I really enjoy my farming and its functionality, but its connection to IOS is inadequate. Android users can choose apps to receive notifications from on their watch but the same cannot be said for IOS. Garmin recommends that IOS users change their phone settings so only certain push notifications are sent to the phone, doing the same for the watch. This is not acceptable and should be an easy fix but lazy developers chose to not fix the issue. If I only want notifications for text from my garmin, I shouldn’t have to cater my phone notifications to that. It is distracting when I’m at work or limits my life outside of work.
I purchased a new bike and a few weeks later I purchased a Garmin Edge 1050. I started using this app when I purchased the edge. The odometer on edge starts at the purchase of the edge and there is no way to adjust the mileage to the date of the purchase of the bike. I even tried exporting fit files and importing them into this program but the program only looks at the Garmin Edge mileage to do the odometer. The edge is not the gear, the bike is and you should be able to import workouts collected from other devices to get the true mileage or allow the use to put in an offset for gear mileage
Every time I go to make a course in the freehand section it always just deletes my entire course after around 2.5 miles pls fix this.
Garmin’s interfaces are very unrefined, experience is clunky, and the device pairing/connectivity is god-awful. My Fenix 8 has been connected to my phone for months but every few days it just stops syncing weather data to the watch or health metrics to the app; normally, this can be remedied with all the various troubleshooting steps which is borderline acceptable, but today I am having such issues that I am having to reset the watch’s device settings, deleting/re-installing the app and still am not having luck.
Come on, guys, I don’t want to use Apple/Google watches, but this is insane.

I updated the app and all of my history is gone and my Fenix 5Xplus won’t connect anymore. Please offer the old version of the app for download of fix the update so my watch that I use every day will connect.
Thank you Garmin for providing this space. It feels good to exercise and be around others doing the same. Much needed motivation
Love the app and all the data but just got an iPad and am disappointed to see it’s the same small rectangle as on my phone. iPad integration would be great
Literally cannot get my device to pair to this app anymore. At all. Who wrote this software? Do you have any monitoring of errors at all? I have tried every single guide to repairing and I get nothing. After entering the pairing code it says it’s pairing, but always fails saying “failed to pair your device”. It was fine like a month ago but this is unreal what’s the point of these devices if you can’t get the data off of them??
Garmin hardware is excellent, I think we all know that.
However the software is just so dated. Bevel’s interface and AI is so much better I never use the connect app to look at my stats. I just always use Bevel at this point. Also the fact I can’t send a mobility workout to my Epix Pro Gen 2 is stupid. That’s clearly just a marketing tactic to get people to buy the fenix 8. There’s no reason a mobility workout can’t be sent to my watch.
Another thing:
You have an exercise Garmin doesn’t support? Too bad.
Why we can’t make custom exercises is beyond me. Any other fitness app lets you do that. Let’s get with the times garmin. Time to update the software side of things.
