* We quickly learn your type. You’ll only be introduced to the best people for you.
* We give you a sense of someone’s personality. You’ll get to know potential dates through their unique answers to prompts, as well as information like religion, height, politics, dating intentions, relationship type, and much more.
* We make it easy to start a conversation. Every match begins by someone liking or commenting on a specific part of your profile. Our latest feature, Convo Starters, offers personalized ideas inspired from someone’s Prompt answers and photos to help you spark engaging conversations from the start.
* We want you to feel confident about meeting people in person. Selfie Verification makes it easier for daters on Hinge to ensure that they are who they say they are.
* We ask how your dates are going. After exchanging phone numbers with a Match, we’ll follow up to hear how your date went so we can make better recommendations in the future.
The app is free to use. Members looking to see everyone who likes them or send unlimited likes can upgrade to Hinge+. To access additional features, including enhanced recommendations and priority likes, we offer HingeX.

Very poor Matches . I’m not seeing people with my preferences.
So I was in Hollywood and I have been single on and off for the last seven years. Hinge has introduced me to some incredible people, and I have remained very optimistic in my search for love, despite some pretty crazy and hilarious first date disasters! But I am a girl who knows my worth and was determined not to settle. I believed that the right guy was out there for me and I just needed to be patient and persistent… and trust that Hinge had my back!
Well, a couple months ago your app matched me with an incredible man who happens to be in my industry (film and TV) and works at Sony. I am currently producing a film with Leonardo DiCaprio all about the Wizard of Oz and we have been working at the same Sony lots recently (because the original Wizard of Oz was filmed there). There is a big giant rainbow on the studio lot and so I like to say that Dean and I met somewhere over the rainbow. I am queen of finding all the red flags, but only see emerald city green flags with him. A great dad, a hard worker, and a funny, polite, romantic gentlemen. I always used to say that I would give up my Emmy nomination to find true love… But now I don’t have to. Thank you, Hinge!!!

My account was unexpectedly banned and support has not provided meaningful clarification or confirmation of a manual review. I would appreciate a proper review process for long-time legitimate users.

I met a man off hinge. He beat and r@ped me. I reported his profile to hinge. They BANNED ME! I’ve emailed them and they still won’t revoke the ban. My r@pists profile is still live. My friends see it. Hinge does not care about your safety. HINGE ALLOWS R@PISTS AND PUNISHES THE VICTIM!!!!!!
You can totally tell that the five star reviews have been written by AI. AI is going to take over this app and I know it’s going to be some cheeks. I am so glad I’m no longer on it. It is so much better dating irl. Yes I got hella matches but Hinge really love to cycle through guys at least 2 to 3 times even after I already said no. Also, I’m pretty mad at Hinge because I reported a user for threatening and violent behavior and then I ended up getting an email from Hinge where they were berating me for reporting the user in the first place! Even threatened to close my account. Nice!
Hinge support is not helpful, and provided no communication. What a joke of an app
