The iRead-3 Practice App is an interactive test-prep tool designed to help Indiana 2nd and 3rd grade students prepare for the iRead-3 standardized exam, which must be passed by the end of 3rd grade.
The app mirrors the real test experience: students practice on a digital screen with multiple-choice questions in the same format and presentation as the official exam. Each session feels authentic, building confidence and familiarity.
Key features include:
Comprehensive Coverage: Every content area assessed on the iRead-3 is included.
Fresh Practice Every Time: A new set of questions is generated each time a student selects a reading comprehension category.

With unlimited practice opportunities, students gain the repetition and skill-building they need to feel prepared and pass the Indiana iRead-3 at the end of the school year.

SaaS Metrics
Do not let your kid go on it by themselves, because 5 to 10% of the time it will tell you the wrong answer is correct or the right answer is wrong, or have some other glitch that can really confuse a kid and causing to do worse on the test.
Example: the question asked “which prefix means ‘not’” and the options were “untie” and “disagree”. Disagree was chosen because it means not agree, but the app said that untie was the correct answer.
I recommend the app, but I’m giving it one star because it requires a parent to be there alongside them, double checking every question, which should not be necessary.
I would not give this one star if the app warned you that someone should double check as the student is doing it.
