Community Voice & Feedback
I enjoy drawing with this app. downloaded a couple weeks ago, been using it a bunch. But it feels like every update completely changes the usability. With whole options completely changing or being taken out. I appreciate the active work from the devs but the changes have been jarring. Especially when im working on a drawing and then an update takes out a brush function completely. Also frustrating when theres no update notes! Especially when I paid for this..
I love this new update but now when I upload images to draw over the quality is grainy and terrible please resolve this. The new pencil is also not great. I don’t know why that had to be changed thus has greatly affected my work and now ergo my job. Please please fix this put the pencil back to how it was this has effected all of my future commissions as the new style makes my work just look messy and scratchy please please fix this I’m so sad over this
I’m not sure what just happened but my works quality dropped drastically and the pencil tool is different, please fix the app and pencil tool
All they had to do it’s just make the app the same as the website, they downgraded EVERYTHING, all the pens suck, it’s not as visually appealing anymore, and the color system is so different to use unlike the website’s. It’s NOT worth the money.
Hey Devs!
I absolutely LOVE this app! I enjoy drawing and experimenting with the brushes! I have never seen an app quite like this!
I have a few things i would love to bring up of what features I wish this app had!
Layers! I would love multiple layers to draw on, especially if it had an opacity adjuster on each layer!
More color options! A color wheel would be AWESOME!
I would LOVE if we had the option to upload projects with a transparent background like a PNG option.
One thing I would like to bring up that has been an issue with my personal experience, zooming in and out on the frame, I noticed it is a bit stiff when I do so, resulting in marks randomly appearing on the frame from trying to zoom in and out. Overall it is such a great app! I understand it’s probably being updated and new features coming out in the future, but I can’t wait to see the things to come out on this app!

App costs $5 just to not work. Modern mode never loads and the classic mode just has a black canvas that can’t be changed, none of the colors work on it, irritating.
This app works very well on my iPad! It is very easy to export to my camera roll. If anyone wants to see my wigglypaint art, it is @sunshinedotnet on Instagram.
I would love the option for more colors, and more sizes/custom sizes for the canvas. Thank you so much!

Hi Devs, thanks for responding! I meant for the background, you could give the option of making it completely transparent. Like when you download the finished video/gif, there would be no background and just your artwork. And yes, layers would be great! It gets a little crazy trying to erase things. Thanks again~
Hi devs! This is suchhh an awesome app and saves SO much time! But there are a few key features I’m sure everyone would love!
1. Make transparent backgrounds! I would love to use these as stickers and i’m not sure how to remove the background.
2. Make layers! Layers would be so helpful for more complex drawings!
3. Give us more color range! A color wheel in place of the preset colors would be great.
Thank you so much! I especially need the transparent background feature 🙏🙏

I am really enjoying the app version and I appreciate more choice of color even if it is still limited. One major difference that I ran into was that I accidentally clicked the clear button, which of course cleared my piece, but hitting undo didn’t restore my piece and I lost about an hour of work because the undo button doesn’t work for that, despite it working like that for the web version. :,) It was very painful to lose that work. Nonetheless, I am excited for this app and am really hoping this gets developed further, as it has been becoming closer to a true art program!
I’ve had a lot of fun toying with this app, but there’s some glitches that need to be ironed out and things that need tweaking.
Namely, I’ve had an issue with progress not saving properly when exiting out of a canvas— changes I made within the last minute or so of closing a drawing out will often not be saved, forcing me to redo them when I open the project again. Sometimes the app will also freeze while drawing a line, causing it to briefly skip or to draw a line in a direction I didn’t intend to.
As for features I’d love to see tweaked/added:
I also wish that GIFs exported from this app had an option for automatically looping the wiggle animation, as having it stop dead after a few seconds, and manually having to export it to procreate or another program to make it loop, is a bit annoying. I also wish there were options to change the size of the eraser + fine liner pen, and to add custom colors to the palette. Having to deal with the huge default eraser size when I’m doing really detailed drawings is a big hassle!
I’ll still continue to use WigglyPaint, but my experience would definitely be improved if they rectified these things in a future version of the app.
(Update in response to developer review, I use the modern UI so I was having issues with that version!)

I wish that there were more color options and bigger canvas sizes. Other than that this app is amazing
I Love the wiggly paint website, so I’m glad to be able to support the creators by buying the app. However I was Really disappointed to see that the color options are so limited :( I really liked making custom pallets with hexadecimal colors on the web and really hope this is a feature that will be implemented in the app.
I’ve been using the wiggly paint website for a while and decided I should just buy the app since love the website. I definitely think the app is pretty good and I enjoy using it, I hope you continue to update it and add features because it definitely isn’t the best but it’s still fun and a good way to make interesting and fun artwork.
please for the love of gary’s green goatee make there a custom colors thing / reference , or like a color picker from other images bc like PUHLEASE
