Why remove creators ability to see what is or is not monetized?! Why would you remove the green circle that helped us to see what is going on?!
As other commenters have stated, the feature of clicking on a video through the comment section (as seen through notifications) has been removed for... seemingly no reason? It's so strange to remove this. Aside from that, the app works well.
I hope that is coming in the near future. That would take this app to the next level. right now it’s too basic
Was wondering what took up all my storage. This was using 6.36 GB worth of it.
I enjoy creating Shorts and see the value in the format, but the inability to set a custom thumbnail through both the mobile app and desktop is holding creators back. First impressions matter, and the cover images is often the only thing standing between the scroll and a click. right now it feels like a hazing ritual - You have to look unprofessional for an undetermined period of time before YouTube decides you've earned the right to represent your own brand. Would love to see this addressed sooner rather than later.
The videos take so much longer to upload now, the checks take even longer and the interface may seem clean but I like the notification on the Home Screen by my videos letting me know the monetization is ok.
I’m sick and tired of not having something to do when it comes to enabling comments and posting shorts, all I can do is post videos! I absolutely hate this so I’m giving 2 stars
Im putting this here since app support loses you in the standard rabbit hole of no help windows. As of the newest update 6/20/2026 or so, you can no longer click on a comment in the app and then go to the video that comment is on. You used to be able to do it and i did it on a lot of them. I wanted to refresh my memory on the video, watch it sometimes for a refresher, check notes in the desc, etc. and now you cant. Now you just stay in comments. Im hoping its an unintentional byproduct of the latest update bc if its a purposeful design change then its a terrible design decision. It requires you to manually back out of comments, go over to content, search the content and select the video in question. Instead of just being able to click on it right there on the comment. Like we used to be able to do. Please put the functionality back.

Most recent update on IOS has broken the comment section, nothing shows up, I can’t read the comments or post anything. Iv uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still nothing.
Up until a few days ago, June 17, 2026, I was able to click a video next to a comment so I could see what they were asking about. Now, I have to go out of comments and into Content and search all over for my video, just to look at it. This seems like a bug. Please fix it.
I can't view videos from comments section, can't view some comments, and I can't view the briefs provided from brands in the shopping section of studio. Furthermore in YT app when I live stream from my iPhone, the audio slowly goes out of sync now I have to unplug my mic every 5 or 10 minutes to temporarily fix. Your new AI creator "support" is absolutely useless with all pre typed clickable replies and refuse to send me to a tier 2 or higher tech support who can fix the issue. Please fix these problems! The audio issue is destroying my viewership.
It keeps saying something went wrong what did I even do? Cry and delete it?
I hate when I go to change my background it says image must be 1024 or 576 pixels I would appreciate if y’all removed this feature cause its really annoying hope you see this review and take that feature down thanks it would help a lot
