Unclear why I cannot schedule in the app recurring meetings on some days of the week (ex: Mondays and Wednesdays). Also it is not clear why a simple app like this should be 200Mb+

A birthday button? Seriously? Those are already in my Google contacts. I will never press that button and it only is registered as an accidental press. Such a waste of screen space.

Gets the job done. Has a good UI mostly. Lacks some of the both elementary and essential features that the desktop web app has, like setting an event to repeat only on certain days of the week. Also, doesn't load any events past a few years back. If I try to look at something more than 3 years ago, it loads for just a moment but then all the events suddenly disappear and don't come back.

I loved Google calendar because I loved the event illustrations! It made it visually pleasing! Now most of those don’t appear on the iPhone, iPad or MacBook! So frustrating and so disappointing! Why change it? Looking for something better now!
MarathonJRunner • Apr 7, 2026
Recent update broke text selection in event descriptions. You can no longer copy just a phone number or address — only the entire block.

This is a huge step backward for anyone using this for work. Please restore normal text selection.

Once this is fixed my review goes back to 5-stars.

Keeps me on track

The app hasn’t synced automatically for months. I’ve reported it and got no change or response. There should be a button for us to be able to manually do it just like Android has.. However, we shouldn’t have to. It should automatically sync. It did before, so what happened?

Only small and medium tiles but more importantly it list an event from 9:30-10 above the event from 9-9:30 🥴

Love the app, but please add a place we can put screenshots/photos instead of just drive links.
JJW85 • Mar 31, 2026
Overall the calendar works as expected. Feature rich and integrates well with the rest of the Google apps. Works great on my Mac products. My only request seems simple… make the number inside the icon reflect the actual day of the month. I noticed the iOS/iPadOS calendar icon did this and I really liked it.
JMBF_2323 • Mar 27, 2026
Why does the icon always say “31”? That’s such a stupid design decision. The icon should have the number of the current date!
Richard salinas • Mar 24, 2026
Please add more colors, sage and basil look the same shade of green can’t event tell the difference 🥲

My Adding this Calendar App makes is better.

Randomly deletes events
Pizzarik • Mar 21, 2026
Unfortunately, this iOS app is missing many features available on my windows version. One example is that I cannot find a way to copy to multiple calendars which is easy in windows. I was hoping for a better experience and like Apple’s calendar app, it is not as good as it easily could be.
