Ive found a good handful of “facts” that are not true what so ever, the most recent I discovered is “Shakespeare invented the word assassination” which is incorrect In the 12th-century Arabic term hashīshīn (plural of hashishiyy), meaning "hashish-users," (aka someone who smoked weed) The term arose during the Crusades and passed into European languages via Italian (assassino) and French, eventually becoming a general term for professional murderers and was later popularized by Shakespeare during the 15-16th century like many other words but was not invented by him. Simply doing a little research would be enough to determine what’s factual and fictional.

The facts of thday are more than usually something I ever had an idea about. Thus my “fact of the day”
It’s SOOO interesting learning something that is interesting (for the most part) new each day!! 👏🏼🙌🏻

Makes you go through a bunch of questions to set up app then at the end you have to pay for it. Just be upfront that it’s a paid app and don’t waste my time

Don’t get the app it’s a scam the reminder for the trial never happens and they get your money . Don’t waste your time

And i gotta say, im addicted to this one. The fact that it’s free and you can scroll and scroll through interesting facts without ads is pretty cool

Some of these are false, misleading or oversimplified.

Allows you to download for free then asks for payment after setting things up. If I had known I would have to pay to use the app, I wouldn’t have downloaded it to begin with.

You want me to pay you to… tell me facts? I can just use Google for that
RayRay25120 • Feb 26, 2026
If you like fact checking every quote they give you, go for it. Or you can get your crapshoot of half truths straight from Instagram at no extra cost.

The lock screen widget feature is why I decided to download this, and pay for it, and it’s the same six facts on a cycle. Massively disappointing. Had the same experience with the vocab one.

Was very excited about this app with this widget feature so I could get fun facts on my Home Screen. But then the facts were really repetitive. Had to cancel before the free trial ended.

You can click the fact for the source but 4/5 times, the information it is linked to has nothing to do with the provided fact. Comes across as them taking popular internet fads and adding them to the mix marketing them as facts.
This was meant to expand my knowledge not rot it with more created content.

Hi monkey taps I just wanna let ya know that I have a iPad 5th gen cellular and it’s stuck at iOS 16 so I’m hoping make the app available for older devices that run on iOS 16. Thank you

A lot of the “facts” this pulls up are just false statements. I’ve used it for about three days and it’s definitely not showing facts, a simple google search proves this app wrong nine times out of ten.

I like this app a lot, it gives me ideas and inspiration for my business. I make animal themed products so the animal facts usually spark up a new product concept for me.

Recently, I’ve been thinking about posting a new fact or quote on my instagram daily. But, I’ve been having trouble saving and organizing facts. I’ve accidentally saved facts and I can’t seem to remove them from my collection. I also can’t switch them to different collections so once it’s saved to the wrong one, it’s just there and I can’t do anything about it.
