Community Voice & Feedback
@madatbay Kudos. on the launch. Its a great idea but i am curious how does it know that I drank water or did a quick stretch?
the balance score + mood character detail is a smart way to make it stick without a dashboard. one thing I'm curious about - does it learn your actual work rhythm (holds off during an obvious deep-focus stretch, nudges harder when you've genuinely been still too long), or is it running on a fixed timer regardless of what you're doing? asking because the fixed-timer version risks becoming exactly the kind of interruption it's trying to save you from.
I think this is kind of an innovative product for PH, especially because it is about health :)
what's it actually priced at?
Honestly wasn't expecting much but it works...Been using this for a bit now and it's genuinely helped. i'm one of those people who just... forgets to drink water or move for hours when i'm heads down working. this thing sits in the notch and gives you a little nudge, doesn't nag, no dashboard to babysit. felt way more hydrated and my neck wasn't as stiff by end of day. also a one time payment which is nice, don't need another subscription eating at me every month. worth it if you're at a desk all day like me
I'm the solo dev behind HealthyNotch.
I built this because I spend most of my day heads-down in code, and I kept noticing the same pattern: six hours would pass, I'd realize I hadn't had water since breakfast, my neck locked in one position, eyes dry from staring at a screen. Every wellness app I tried wanted me to open it, log something, look at a chart. I stopped using all of them within a week.
So HealthyNotch just sits quietly in the notch and nudges you - a glance, not a task. There's a Balance Score that tracks your day, plus a little character whose mood shifts with you. Sounds silly, but it's surprisingly effective at getting you to actually act on a nudge instead of dismissing it.
