Non-monotonic response of net dust deposition kinetics to low wind speeds
Abstract. Dry deposition is a major sink for mineral dust, yet its behavior under weak winds remains poorly constrained and is often parameterized monotonically with wind speed. Here we quantify size-resolved dust deposition kinetics in a large cl...
Nanomaterials for Water Purification Towards Global Water Crisis Sustainable Solutions
Providing the world's increasingly growing population with clean, affordable water is an unprecedented challenge for the 21st century. In the face of climate change and failing water quality, nanotechnology has become the center piece in innovatio...
Synthetic twist geometry in mesoscopic quantum circuits: geometric capacitance and chiral mode splitting
Abstract We propose a route for encoding a helicoidally twisted synthetic geometry in mesoscopic quantum circuits. A torsionless spatial metric with twist parameter Ω defines an electrostatic capacitance kernel whose angular–axial sector contains ...
Improving the CLASSIC (v1.8) snow model to better simulate Arctic snowpacks
Abstract. This study enhances the snow model of the Canadian Land Surface Scheme including Biogeochemical Cycles (CLASSIC), with a particular focus on Arctic environments. Key snow model physics improvements include adjustments to the thermal cond...
In-Situ Quantum Metrology for Swarm Nano-Fabrication Quality Assurance at the Limit This exploratory research monograph investigates whether quantum-enabled and classical in-situ measurements can improve the physical verification of nano-fabricated products and multi-agent assembly processes. The proposed three-coupling is In-Situ Signal × Defect Localization × Independent Acceptance. Its central question is not whether a sensor or artificial-intelligence model can generate a persuasive quality score, but whether an independently verifiable instrument chain can correctly detect, localize, and adjudicate real defects during manufacture, at acceptable cost, uncertainty, latency, and risk.
In-Situ Quantum Metrology for Swarm Nano-Fabrication Quality Assurance at the Limit This exploratory research monograph investigates whether quantum-enabled and classical in-situ measurements can improve the physical verification of nano-fabricate...
Using Unfitted Finite Elements in Topology Optimization of Neural Surface Ensembles
Since the introduction of topology optimization in structural design, significant research has focused on improving the robustness and applicability of these automated design techniques to a wider range of problems. Achieving this goal in topology...
Multiphase-Flow Physics-Informed Neural Network for Pressure Field Prediction in a Middle East Low-Permeability Carbonate Reservoir
Abstract Low-permeability carbonate reservoirs in the Middle East exhibit strong heterogeneity and complex subsurface flow behavior. However, Conventional numerical simulation becomes time-consuming, and history matching remains challenging. This ...
Semileptonic Decays of Heavy Vector Mesons in Hard-Wall AdS/QCD with $N_{f}=5$
Abstract We present a systematic study of semileptonic decays of heavy vector mesons within the Hard-Wall AdS/QCD framework. Semileptonic decays provide a clean environment for testing the Standard Model because the leptonic current is well unders...
Proposing Regression and Machine Learning Methods and Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average Time Series in Predicting the Price of Ripple Digital Currency
This study proposes a hybrid forecasting approach for predicting the price of Ripple's digital currency, XRP, by integrating autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) time series models with machine learning (ML) techniques, including linea...
