Missing "Personal" tab in Claude Desktop's plugin marketplace, preventing custom marketplace integration

Technical Positioning
Open, extensible agent skills marketplace for Claude Desktop
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
This bug reveals a critical disconnect between Claude Desktop's advertised extensibility and its actual implementation. The absence of a "Personal" tab in the plugin marketplace directly prevents users from integrating custom marketplaces like `phuryn/pm-skills` from GitHub. This limitation forces users into cumbersome workarounds, such as manual repository downloads or requiring a "Pro plan or higher" for project-based integration. This severely undermines the "open" and "marketplace" positioning, creating significant friction for developers and limiting the ecosystem's growth. It indicates a fundamental flaw in the platform's extensibility model for non-Anthropic plugins.
