## Summary

## Proposed scope
- Audit use of macOS 26-only APIs and visual effects.
- Add availability checks or compatible fallbacks where practical.
- Set the lowest supportable deployment target based on runtime requirements rather than UI-only constraints.
- Document the supported macOS versions on the website and release page.
- Add CI coverage for the minimum supported version.
## Acceptance criteria
- The app either runs on macOS 15 Sequoia or the blocking APIs and technical rationale are documented.
- Newer macOS versions retain the intended UI.
- Unsupported systems receive a clear compatibility message before installation.
