Multi-device selection for `findphone`. Contribution policy and licensing for open-source projects.

Technical Positioning
Enhancing `findphone` with an opt-in `--select` feature for manual multi-device selection. Clarifying open-source contribution guidelines and licensing terms.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
This issue reveals two critical developer pain points: the inherent limitation of single-device tracking in multi-device environments and the friction in open-source contribution. A user immediately identifies the multi-device challenge, prompting a contributor to develop an `--select` feature. This highlights a clear market demand for enhanced functionality beyond basic single-device operations. Crucially, the contributor's struggle with the absence of a `LICENSE` or `contribution policy` underscores a significant barrier to external engagement. Lack of clear governance impedes valuable contributions, delaying feature development and signaling project immaturity. For SaaS, this translates to lost innovation and slower product evolution. Clear contribution frameworks are essential for leveraging community efforts and accelerating product roadmap execution.

Hi, I prepared a small opt-in `--select` implementation for the multi-device case described here. It displays nearby candidates as a numbered list and lets the user choose one candidate for tracking. Existing survey, hunt, list, redaction, and sound behavior remains unchanged when `--select` is not used. The branch is available here for review: https://github.com/RobLe3/alien-findphone/tree/feat/manual-device-selection Before opening a pull request, I noticed this repository does not appear to include a LICENSE or contribution policy. Are outside contributions welcome, and under which license or contribution terms should the change be submitted? The branch contains only the manual-selection change and tests, with no Alien-specific audio, Wi‑Fi, anchor, RSSI graph, process-lock, or full-screen HUD work from the fork.

I have opened the manual-selection implementation as a draft PR: https://github.com/ben-z/findphone/pull/5 It remains a draft while the repository's intended contribution and licensing terms are clarified.
