Basic chart interaction and keyboard accessibility, specifically deleting charts via the 'Del' key.
Technical Positioning
Standard spreadsheet application keyboard shortcuts and user interaction for chart management.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
The inability to delete charts using the 'Del' key represents a fundamental usability flaw in GridCraft. While a menu option exists, the absence of a standard keyboard shortcut significantly degrades user efficiency and violates common spreadsheet application paradigms. This friction point, though seemingly minor, accumulates across user interactions, leading to frustration and a perception of an incomplete or clunky interface. For a product aiming to be an 'Excel-style' application, basic keyboard accessibility is non-negotiable. This oversight indicates a lack of attention to core user workflows, hindering adoption among power users who rely on keyboard-driven efficiency.

Unable to delete a chart with keyboard (0.4.0)
Create any chart, for example by populating A and B columns with values and using the Insert ribbon entry, 'Recommended Charts', which will place a bar chart.
Click on any empty cell to drop the pre-existing selection. Select the chart and hit 'Del' on your keyboard. Nothing will happen.
The chart can be deleted by 'Chart Design'/'Delete Chart', but the keyboard would be more efficient.
