Technical Positioning
Reliable and efficient game configuration, including accurate disk space checks. The goal is a smooth setup process without false-positive resource errors.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
This issue reports a critical failure during 'file configuration' due to a 'lack of disk space,' despite the user explicitly stating they have 'more space than needed' on their SSD. This indicates a false-positive disk space detection mechanism within the product's configuration process. Such an error prevents users from completing the initial setup, rendering the product unusable. This pain point suggests a bug in how disk space is queried or interpreted, potentially due to incorrect unit conversions, pathing issues, or misreading available space on modern storage devices. For a B2B SaaS product, a foundational setup failure like this is a severe blocker, leading to immediate user frustration and abandonment. It requires an urgent fix to ensure accurate resource checks and a smooth onboarding experience.

What game version are you using? Users are reporting the compilation step fails on update 1.9.0 in various threads.
Lucone81 • Oct 25, 2026
version 1.8.2, but i was trying to find the 1.9.0 update, without success. But if it faild even with 1.9.0 it is useless to search for it, isn't it?
Lucone81 • Oct 25, 2026
I managed to get it work. I've created a new folder called "Zelda", inside it i put 2 new folders "exefs" and "romfs" where i've extracted the game's files. Then i've started the configuration and it worked. Zelda version 1.8.2 and 0.2.0 of the recomp software. Hope it can help.
StonedEdge • Oct 25, 2026
Right... this doesn't solve it with version 1.9.0 though, nor Alpha 3?
