MyNetDiary is the calorie tracker you'll actually stick with. Log meals in seconds with a free barcode scanner, Meal Scan (just photograph your plate), or quick search. No ads, no account required. Then get on with your day.
Trusted by 31 million people. Named the top weight loss app by Forbes Health (2025). Highest-rated by the American Journal of Preventive Medicine. The New York Times called it simpler, quicker, and better-looking than the competition. Featured in Today's Dietitian, alongside WW and Noom.
WHY PEOPLE SWITCH
Our food database has over 2 million staff-verified items with up to 108 nutrients. That matters because most apps rely on crowdsourced data full of duplicates and errors.
We're also fast. We logged the same 127 foods in every major app over a week. MyNetDiary took 31% fewer taps than the most popular calorie tracker. Less time logging means you actually keep doing it.
The free version is generous: barcode scanning, macro and 108 nutrient tracking, food diary, calorie calculator, and progress charts. No ads, no paywall tricks.
Active members lose an average of 1.4 lb per week, according to the MyNetDiary Efficacy Report.
Many switched from other diet and nutrition apps.

Community Voice & Feedback
I’ve been using this app for a year, maybe longer. I like how easy it is compared to other food tracking apps out there. It’s great for someone starting this journey because the interface is straight forward. I tried a different app a few weeks ago, just to see what else was out there. Within a few days, I came right back to this one. Overall, I really like it and have recommended it to a lot of people. The only thing I don’t like is the popup for the pay version, but I understand it’s just business.
This app has been great for me and helped me lose the weight I was wanting to.
I love the details this app provides! Tracking my food, water, and activity levels have had a positive effect on my weight and how I feel!
Love it, just wish you could do the picture part for free
This app was great! Very easy to use. I was able to loose 20 pounds while using it. east
To customize it plan and also was easy to my own recipes.

Everything I need
I'm not really the type of person to leave reviews on apps but I have to for this one because how much it helped me throughout my journey. When I first started my weight loss journey I didn't know what to do or where to start and I was recommend to use this app. This app has helped me keep track of what I ate, my weight, my protein intake, which led me to lose 112 pounds! I don't think I couldn't have done it without this app so thank you.
Best food tracker + out there!!
Very easy and effective!
I thoroughly enjoy using this app to track my food. I like how aesthetically pleasing the app is to the eye. And I do like seeing my Apple stay green however when it changes colors to orange or red, I do like to see that as well, so I know if I’m staying on track or not. It’s very easy to use and I do like the AI features that it now has I like being able to take a photo of my food and it telling me what’s in it. It’s typically correct. I only occasionally have to change some things.
This app is wonderful for tracking all macros even if you don’t buy the premium one.
But now I use it easily. I wish I were easier to log food… too many clicks
Great app a lot of options available
Helps me a ton with my food intake and dieting. A great calorie counting app with a ton of extra healthy recommendations. This gives me the confidence to keep eating healthy.
Too many unnecessary options. Extremely difficult to just add a calorie.
