The app would be soooo much better if the reader would slowww way down and include pauses. That is what makes people sleepy

Abide has helped me in so many ways. I use it for my daily meditations with God. I absolutely love the sleep stories to help me relax after a long day, unwind, and focus on my Heavenly Father. The Lord knew what I needed it and this app has helped me to stay focused on Him and not the chaos of this world. Thank you Abide team!

Abide has become a consistent part of my daily rhythm. The prayers and sleep meditations are calming, thoughtful, and easy to return to. It helps me slow down and reset without feeling like effort. Grateful to have found it.

I’ve read through some of these reviews and quite frankly don’t understand some of the complaints. I really can’t remember how long or when I started using it, but it’s been several years. It was not a free app when I started and I continue it every year because it’s worth every penny to me. I had to laugh at the gentleman talking about the little plant thing. It’s popped up on my app every once in a while and surprises
me because I feel like I never miss a day. Anyway, didn’t mean to write an epistle. Oh and one more thing, I was real glad you joined up with Guidepost. I’ve subscribed to their yearly devotional books for over 27 years. One big happy family! God bless every one of your narrators.

I signed up for the free 7 day trial, and cancelled next day and was still charged for the year. The app may be great but the free trial is not.

For the cost there is not enough new sleep stories. Plus it is Easter in 2 weeks and no new items . I am disappointed. I may end my subscription .

I thoroughly LOVE Abide. The narrators have thought provoking messages, all based on the word of God.

I LOVE THIS APP!!
The Abide app has been such an encouraging and confirming tool that has helped me in being still and listening to God through this vessel. God bless the people who he uses on this project to abide and draw us closer to him🙏🏾

Loveeee the daily meditations but not loving the new narrator Drew. Suggestion: Please add the option to receive daily meditations with a selection of Narrators of our choosing. Thanks.

[Updating a previous very positive review now that my count of devotions heard is up to over 700…(1), I have in 2025 and today still, 2/24/26, been having a problem for months that an interesting sounding push notification topic comes up on my iPhone 16e, but when I follow it, it leads to a menu of devotions, none of which are on the subject teased in the notification—Can you have it link directly to the devotion it is advertising?

Previous review: Have just lost a paper journal yet again in my house, so the times I’ve “written in my journal” here are also of importance in the wee hours, not bedtime, when I can contemplate & have energy to write at the same time. Have copied some to notes in my iPhone, which I’ve had one of for almost a decade - so maybe more secure than paper? For now anyway.
(2) Just having listened to the Jenn Stoltzfus / Tyler Bods “I am Loved” devotion, I used it as springboard, with a screenshot of your starry night graphic, on FB; having recalled my Dad using that phrase (1) time to me in my life (we were not a family where “I love you” was said, ever, either: though a good upbringing otherwise.) My suggestion: one problem I have in the Roman’s 8:35-39 journey, which is likely all of our lifetime journals, to see if God ever leaves us, is not the danger / deprivation / illness / storms struggle, nor the power of angels or anything created, except MYSELF. Perhaps it shows narcissism but that scripture leaves put one created thing which I constantly fear WILL show God will or has left me or that I’ve been fooling myself I’m loved: MY OWN FAILURE, amplified by Satan’s semi-true or true accusations… Perhaps a devotion where the pilgrim passes THAT created hurdle would be good. Yeah, I know Paul did address it when he said he was the “chiefest of sinners” but I think we are all, in our failures, and disappointments in ourselves, capable of feeling we are a special case, and even “Chiefer” than Paul… I bet some devotions of this nature will be coming ! You demonstrate God’s power & constancy very well of COURSE. Thanks again

I love this app and use it almost daily but am finding myself a little uncomfortable with the app 'extending me grace' if I miss a day or two? Like my 'spiritual plant' (that I didn't realize I had) will stop growing if I don't log back in and listen to something right away? I feel like that throws me right back into a 'performance' mode, which I've struggled with for years - kind of the same as my fitness tracker. Is there a way to turn that off maybe? Thank you!
