Integration of `bento-slides` with AI agent harnesses for automated content generation.

Technical Positioning
AI-driven content creation, open-source model compatibility, schema-based authoring, cost-efficiency for automated workflows.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
`bento-slides` is being integrated into `PenguinHarness` for AI-driven presentation generation, leveraging open-weight models. This positions `bento` as a target for automated content creation workflows, emphasizing its schema-following nature for agent-based authoring. The focus on cost-efficiency with local or cheap hosted models indicates a market demand for accessible, automated tooling. The inquiry about schema compatibility with smaller models reveals a critical technical consideration for broader AI integration. This initiative validates `bento`'s structured format as suitable for programmatic interaction, opening new avenues for enterprise automation and AI-powered productivity tools.

Try Bento in PenguinHarness using open models

We're adding your `bento-slides` skill to [PenguinHarness](github.com/Prism-Shadow/peng... (an open-source agent harness), so an agent can author `.bento.html` decks straight from a chat.

What interests us is running it on open-weight models. Authoring a deck is mostly schema-following — read `agents.md`, map the material to the right element, write the JSON back — which smaller models tend to handle fine. On a local model served through Ollama or vLLM, or a cheap hosted open one, a deck should come out to a fraction of a cent in tokens, and in the local case nothing leaves the machine.

We haven't measured it properly yet and will report back once we have. Opening this mainly in case it's of interest — and in case there's anything in the schema you'd expect to trip up smaller models.
