Gemini Executive Synthesis
DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on AMD GPUs, specifically addressing visual artifacts (blinking/flashing in Inline mode, extreme ghosting in Async mode) when running Cyberpunk 2077 on an RX 9070.
Technical Positioning
The project aims to provide a functional and visually acceptable DLSS 5 solution for AMD GPUs. The current state, with severe visual artifacts, indicates a failure to meet basic quality standards for a playable experience. The goal is to eliminate these artifacts across different rendering modes and FSR versions.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
This issue exposes significant visual fidelity problems with DLSS-NR-on-AMD when running Cyberpunk 2077 on an RX 9070. Users report 'blinking/flashing' in Inline mode and 'extreme ghosting' in Async mode, rendering the experience unacceptable despite successful activation. The persistence of these artifacts across various FSR versions and resolutions indicates a fundamental rendering pipeline or synchronization issue. This directly impacts user adoption and confidence, as core functionality is compromised by severe visual degradation. For a product aiming to enhance graphical performance, such artifacts are critical blockers, highlighting the complex challenges of porting proprietary rendering technologies to incompatible hardware architectures.

Cyberpunk 2077, Extreme Ghosting on RX 9070
Hey i tried it on my RX 9070 , i can enable it .
On Inline mode , the screen is just blinking / flashing -.-
On Async mode DLSS5 workes but extreme ghosting when object are moving.
I tried FSR 4 , 3 , 2 and a few resolutions but still the same.
Any fixes for that ?

Extracted Positioning
DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on AMD GPUs. The specific problem is the failure of the software to activate or even recognize the AMD GPU (RX 9060 XT) during installation and runtime, despite the GPU functioning correctly with other applications.
The project aims to provide a seamless installation and activation experience for AMD GPU users. The current issues indicate a failure in hardware detection and software integration, preventing the product from delivering its core value. The goal is to ensure reliable GPU identification and feature activation.
Extracted Positioning
DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on AMD GPUs. The specific problem is rendering issues and crashes in 'Wuthering Waves' on RX 7900 XT (RDNA3). This includes black screens in Async mode (UI visible) and errors/crashes in Inline mode, potentially due to color space mismatch or device removal/hung errors.
The project aims to provide a functional and visually correct DLSS 5 solution for AMD RDNA3 GPUs. The current state, with black screens and crashes, indicates a failure to achieve basic rendering integrity and stability. The goal is to resolve these rendering pipeline issues, particularly color space handling and device state management, to ensure a playable experience.
Extracted Positioning
A working patched build of DLSS-NR-on-AMD for RX 9060 XT / gfx1200, demonstrating significant performance improvements (13.3% without Frame Generation, double with) and addressing regressions in official builds.
The project aims to provide a stable, high-performance DLSS 5 Neural Rendering solution for AMD GPUs, specifically targeting the RX 9060 XT. The goal is to surpass previous performance benchmarks and ensure reliability, particularly concerning 'Inline mode' functionality. The developer is positioning this patched build as a critical reference for future official releases, emphasizing regression prevention.
Extracted Positioning
DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on AMD GPUs. The specific problem is crashes in Cyberpunk 2077 on an RX 7900 XT, suspected to be caused by 'excessive TDR-timeout workloads'.
The project aims to provide a stable and functional DLSS 5 solution for AMD GPUs. The crashes, particularly in a demanding title like Cyberpunk 2077, indicate a stability issue under heavy load. The goal is to mitigate TDR-timeout related crashes and ensure robust performance in graphically intensive games.
Extracted Positioning
DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on AMD GPUs. The specific problem is a 'GPU Crash dump Triggered' on startup when running 'The Blood of Dawnwalker' on an RX 9060 XT, with an empty DLSS-NR-on-AMD log file.
The project aims to provide a stable and functional DLSS 5 solution for AMD GPUs across a range of games. The immediate crash on startup, coupled with a lack of diagnostic logs, indicates a severe integration failure that prevents the product from even initializing. The goal is to ensure basic game compatibility and robust error logging.
