Core CAD functionality issues: DWG file handling (file picker, block display), object selection cursor, hatching persistence, command memory, and save prompt on exit.
Technical Positioning
Basic, reliable CAD operations and user experience consistent with industry expectations for DWG compatibility and intuitive interaction.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
This issue exposes multiple critical deficiencies in CADCraft's core functionality and user experience. The failure to display DWG files in the file picker, incorrect 'smart block' rendering, broken object selection (no cursor change), non-persistent hatching, lack of command memory, and missing save prompt on exit collectively indicate a product far from market readiness. These are not edge cases; they are fundamental interactions that directly impede basic CAD work. Such pervasive issues undermine user trust, productivity, and the product's credibility as an 'AutoCAD-style app,' severely limiting its adoption in any professional context.

Bug fix and Feature Request about how blocks are used and general usage
When dwg files is opened (btw dwgs are not shown in file picker please fix that) smart blocks doesn't appear correctly. for exp uploaded dwg file is shown properly in other cad softwared but functions and display is broken in cadcraft.
when hatching or other operations select object doesn't change cursor to box, so selecting something is hard. also hatched object doesnt stay hatched.
select object etc previous selected option is not remembered
when closing window doesnt ask for saving the changes
