Lack of support for older CPUs (e.g., Intel Xeon E3 1230V2, lacking AVX2 instructions) in the Shadow of the Colossus PC port, leading to immediate crashes on launch.

Technical Positioning
Expanding CPU compatibility to include older architectures, specifically those lacking modern instruction sets like AVX2, to broaden the addressable market for the PC port. The goal is to ensure the game launches and runs on a wider range of hardware.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
This issue highlights a critical CPU compatibility barrier for the Shadow of the Colossus PC port: the lack of support for older processors missing modern instruction sets like AVX2. Users with capable, albeit older, CPUs (e.g., Intel Xeon E3 1230V2) are experiencing immediate game crashes, effectively locking them out. The comparison to other successful ports (Bloodborne, GOW 3 Remastered) that *added* such support underscores a clear market expectation. For B2B SaaS in game development or porting, this demonstrates the necessity of targeting a broad CPU baseline to maximize market reach. Ignoring older, yet still prevalent, hardware configurations leads to significant user exclusion and negative sentiment, impacting overall product adoption.
